Today was amazing.  There’s really no other explaination when you see a human being enter into life.  Let alone the fact that it’s my new daughter, it was just unreal.  To watch Brooke push through so much pain, endure so much – it was just intense.  But then to watch this little amazing bundle of joy enter into the world was so surreal.  I have felt all along that it was a girl and so I was very excited when I saw her beautiful face appear.  There’s something about having girls that I just love so I’m so very happy to see how it all turned out. 

It was so special to have so many in the room to experience the occasion – my mom and sister, Brooke’s mom and sister, Deb Eskew, MJ Saltz and our dula Annie (who was AMAZING – highly recommend).  Not sure all the nurses appreciated so many in there, but they let us do it so that was great.
