Man…this weekend was great.  Here’s the play-by-play:

Friday my homies Mike & Kristen Lamb came in to town from Boston en-route to the ILC in LA. We went out to dinner Friday night which was fun (thanks for watching the kiddies Barrys ).  Saturday we just chilled in the morning and then my folks, Jen & Benoni and their kiddies all came down.  We had lunch, went to the park, the kids went swimming…you still awake for all this?  heh.  Saturday night we had some din din then went and saw a very good movie called The Kingdom .  The whole audience left the theater in silence.  Interesting vibe to say the least.

I came home from the movie to find out that Stanford had pulled off the unthinkable !  So very excited about that.  Then I saw the score of the UCLA vs. Notre Dame game.  The ups and downs of Pac-10 emotions… 

Sunday was great.  Had church, had lunch, took a crankin’ nap and then got ready for the big partay.  We had 15 of us around a poker table for about 4 hours of a very lively poker game with some Sunday night football on the TV and food that mama Metten so generously provided.  Very good times.  Thanks to all for making the entrance to 31 such a blast!
