Thanksgiving was great…went to
the in-laws in OC, we flew Ashley in to surprise everyone so that was
fun, but had a great time. Lots of people, lots of food, turkey-bowl
2005, good times. Then the fun began. Thursday afternoon Brooke started
to get these little spots on her ankles…we thought they were bug
bites from sitting in the grass. However, the next morning, it was
obvious this was more than a bug bite or 2. We decided she should stay
up Sunday night to go see our doctor on Monday. I took the train back
from my folks Sunday night only to receive a call at 7a the next day
that she was much worse than before and needed to go to the ER. Turns
out she has been having an allergic reaction to a drug they had given
her at the ER a couple of weeks ago…craziness. So I’m back in LA,
Brooke is being pumped full of steroids (eesh) but hopefully we’ll all
be back in the next couple of days. So there you go.
